With all the beautiful scenery and trails, Madison Indiana is the perfect town for runners (and walkers). This page lists the upcoming road races and walks in our community. Molly Dattilo 5K Run/Walk (May 11, 2013) This run honor a local woman who had been missing since 2004. There are 1 mile and half mile events for children also. See more information on the official website. You can also read our post about the kids events.
Madison Courier Firecracker 10K Walk/Run (July 4th Weekend) This event is part of the larger Madison Regatta festival each year. Here are the results from this year’s race. We’ll post more information about next year when it’s online.
5K Ribberfest Walk/Run (August 17, 2013) This will be the second year for this new race. It’s a part of the larger Ribberfest BBQ and Blues event. See more information and the download the registration form on their official website.
Run for Your Life 10K (August 24, 2013) This event is sponsored by King’s Daughters Hospital. Get more information on their official website.
Lights and Sirens 5K Walk/Run (October 19, 2013) This annual event honors local heroes who gave their life protecting our community. This event is on the hilltop and does not cross into the historic downtown district. See more information on their official website.

Hanover College 5K (October ?? TBD) This annual event is hosted at the Hanover College campus and offers scenic views of the Ohio River. More information.
Run the Falls 5K (September ??? TBD) This event is a community initiative of the King’s Daughters Hospital. Awards given in several age groups. Begins at Clifty Falls State Park swimming pool parking area. More information TBA
Girls on the Run 5K (November ?? TBD) Another event sponsored by the Kings Daughters Hospital. This fun run is all about celebrating the girls who completed the participation running program. The event is open to the public and a great way to encourage the young ladies. Begins at the Madison Junior High School and winds through the Madison hilltop area. More information TBA
